Hello and welcome to our first ever exclusive spoiler for Team Eternal Titans, brought to you by camat0.
I present to you Lumen Attendant!
Pretty exciting! A 4-cost double Time uncommon unit with a 3/3 body is not the beefiest of units. However, the abilities are where this card really gets interesting because it appears to be going in three different directions.
Firstly, we have the discard part of the ability, something that Time as a faction doesn't usually have. This could be good with cards like Ephemeral Wisp and Dawnwalker to generate value by recurring them into play, whilst also providing a way to discard big units to then reanimate them with the likes of Stirring Sand or Grasping at Shadows. Additionally, it could be used as a tribute enabler by discarding a unit card, although three seems rather expensive to trigger Tribute and then play a card with Tribute afterwards.
Secondly, we have the Dark Return effect, which means we can use the Void as a toolbox, particularly if we go Xenan and play Dark Return too. Also, we can do some dirty things with cards like Xenan Cultist, Shadowlands Guide, and Ravenous Thornbeast. Lastly, you could exploit the Destiny-Dark Return combo, which involves drawing and playing the free unit whilst also drawing another card. Playing revenge units with Lumen Attendant and maybe even putting this card into the various Echo Makto decks could lead to some powerful synergies. Things won't be able to get too out of hand though, as it does have the keyword 'Voidbound' which means that it can't leave the void itself.
The third and final aspect of this card is the token generation, more specifically creating a 1/1 Wisp token. This means we will have extra synergies with cards like Devour, Direwood Prowler or Obrak, the Feaster. Also, as I said before the token is a wisp and we are seeing some wisps in the current spoilers of set 4, even some interesting wisp matter cards like Soulbringer. Perhaps it could be relevant in the future, we will just have to wait and see.
I'm sure there more things you can try like playing Primal to have access to Haunting Scream and Nocturnal Observer but in general, I think this card will be best in Xenan and maybe TJS to have access to more revenge units. Overall, I think the card is interesting and fun but not competitive and that is perfectly fine.
Here's what a few of my teammates have to say about the card:
AhornDelfin:
My initial thoughts: Lumen Attendant generates a good amount of value. It combines Dark Return with a 3/3 body and the need to discard can be mitigated by discarding a power or using it to enable Tribute or reanimation strategies. The Wisp it spawns also adds a bit of extra value and might come in handy for the Wisp synergy we already saw. That said my concern is that the card is too slow and too vulnerable for constructed. At four power your opponent is likely to do some major tempo plays and a 3/3, that also uses three power later on con't compete there. I don't expect to see Lumen Attedant too often on ladder unless the meta is rather slow and you are looking for more Tribute enablers that offer value.
Grimfan:
The body is a bit weak, but it's a radiant and there's a little synergy there with what we have now, not to mention future cards. The fact that it's Voidbound kind of sucks, I do not know what home this card would have, but it is interesting to say the least. The fact the ultimate makes a wisp is pretty interesting as well, since time does love token producers.

Without seeing the full set, this looks like a great glue card for any kind of Radiant/Wisp strategies they have planned. In Draft and League, that is. The stats for the cost are too low for competitive Ranked play. I think the most important aspect of this card is that it enables Tribute, creates both relevant unit types, and utilizes any potential void strategies in a tribe that cares very much about that sort of thing. Barring all of that, it's still comparable to a Striped Araktodon that fetches your bombs from the void, and that can be huge in games decided by board stalls and/or evasion.
ManuS:
It does some interesting and unique stuff but likely has too much competition in the 4 drop slot for its stats.
